The 6B pencil is perfect for drawing lines, the medium hard brush and the soft airbrush for colouring. For an anime-style drawing like this one, only 6B pencil, medium hard brush and soft airbrush are enough. Procreate has a huge amount of brushes, and each brush can be customised by changing different options. So the proportion of canvas to draw is nearly all of the screen, and it is convenient to use your left hand to adjust the canvas while my right hand is drawing. Many other operations can be done by different gestures, such as quick pinch for fit the canvas to the screen, pinch the canvas to zoom and rotate.

The buttons of main functions (actions, adjustments, colour, layers, brushes…) are on the top, while the things on the left are for adjusting the size and opacity, undo and redo. One important thing that greatly affects the experience is the interface of Procreate. The whole drawing experience is very nice.

So this time I decide to write a review about the experience of using Procreate on iPad Pro (with Apple Pencil).
